Single solitary becomes a stable tower

In 2019, an idea was born - an event that was all about the spectrum, entrepreneurship and innovation:

A single hackathon event designed to celebrate life, especially Yuval Tobin, who celebrated his birthday and decades with the autistic continuum. A single event turned into an ecosystem

of parents, kids with ASD, therapists, tech leaders, entrepreneurs who build startups, raise capital, and change the world, and one growing community with over 100 thousand people!

That's how Hackautism was born

Since 2019, we have been active throughout the years, creating opportunities for our ecosystem and entrepreneurs portfolio who chose to join us at the first event. Since then, we are opening our doors annually to additional entrepreneurs.

Once a year we hold our flagship event, every year we dedicate the hackathon to the autistic community , but in 2024 we dedicated the event to developing solutions to create a routine and deal with times of emergency for the entire community of people with disabilities.
According to studies and surveys carried out at the time of COVID-19, about 60% of people with disabilities suffered from a deterioration in mental health due to a lack of routine.

Since October 7, 2023, we all feel the imbalance, but there is a "transparent" community that needs significant support.

The Hackautism hackathon
At each hackathon, we develop solutions and present projects to various professionals. At the end of a process, out of hundreds, we germinate ten applicable, sustainable projects that respond to the challenges experienced by children and adults on the autistic spectrum and their families. Ecotism is an idea germination event where the competition's winners continue on a defined route of an incubator to develop the ventures. We called this activity "the day after." The ventures that the hackathon's judging team will select will join the ecotism portfolio every year and become part of the flourishing ecosystem, with support for continued activity and accompaniment in various fields, from mentoring to investor relations.

The Startup Nation incubator

Since 2023, in collaboration with the College of Management academic track, we have operated the Startup Nation incubator, which focuses on entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and impact—emphasizing solutions for people with disabilities. Thus, we combine impact and entrepreneurship with academia—growing an ecosystem of sustainable startups and the future generation with tools and connections for sustainability and impact. During the course, the students engage in product development from the world of content that the United Nations (SDG) supports. To register, click here.
